I tell you good night and good morning as I go about my day.
I walk to the end of the road and say hello, to school is where I am on my way
The NBA missed out on the best playerand that is not fair
You had the talent, the ability and the attitude to make it there.
I will miss the way you laughed at me when we would play ball
I always did it wrong or found a way to fall
You always made me play not to give a helping hand, but you knew I would make you laugh and smile
I would do anything to hear you laugh or see you smile upon me now
You missed out on so many good things in life I just wish you could
Have the chance to live the way a teenager should
You never got to graduate, marry that one special lady, or have your own cute kid
So everything I do in my life, will be done the way you would have did
If I would have never met you, I don't know where I would be
You touched my heart and helped me be the person I today see
Brandy's brother, you were certainly one of a kind
Everyone should have known you, because guys like you are rare to find
Sometimes deep down inside I am so weak, even though I try to be strong
I tried not to cry, I knew you would not want us to do that for too long
It hit us so hard and it was unexpected I can't help but to cry
I never thought anyone I loved so dear as you would die
God only picks the best so I guess that is why it was you
If I could pick one angel, I would certainly pick you
Be there to comfort us and hold us all too tight
Wrap your wings around us, hold us all together with all your might
To Brandy, Ducky, Justin, Ricky and most of all Eddie
Without you I could have never made it through, for this I was never ready
Through this time of grief I know you gave me the strength to hold on
I was ready to give up, but our friendship was what held us together, that very special bond
I never want to lose any more of you that I love so dear
We must realize to live day to day, that we are lucky to be here
So we must be there for each other, please never leave my side
I am always here for you, and our feelings we shall not hide
To Eddie, I will love and miss you always. A person as special as you I know I could never forget
You hold a special place in my heart that no one could ever replace. That is where our memories lie,
in my heart, never to be forgotten.
