of daisies on angel hair

happy in bedtime prayer

Jupiter of my world, you
governed it with dictatorial power

wing, i became as a stone angel

Laden with a halo of guilt
and a tarnished white mantle

Magic wand you forced into
my hand like a prize to hold

Nocturnal games with the
devil which cost me my soul

O Father, how could you
poison your own flesh and blood ?

Pervading my mind and body
with delusions of fatherly love

desires, i knew not but to obey

roles you coerced me to play

Teacher, mentor -- pain
and humility are the lessons you taught me
U
Unblemished, you went into
the world concealing your true light
V
Venerable gentleman by day,
callous monster by night
W
Wanton good night kisses
when all i needed was a sweet lullaby
X
Xcrutiating caresses forced
upon a virgin mouth forbidden to cry
Y
Yearning still for a childhood
long ago lost within your embracing confine
Z
Zero hour - i wait - when
i can be a child again no longer haunted
by the memory of your satiated
face above mine
*Now i know my ABC - won't
you sing along with me?*
