A Mother's Sonnet
A Mother's Sonnet

Linked together by an eternal bond,
No person could e'er take my mother's place;
She's the first person my eyes look'd upon:
The beauty of the world lay on her face.
Like a flower, under her sun, i grew;
She helped me bloom with constant love and care.
Despite every worry i put her through,
In good and bad times, she was always there.
A loyal heart like hers i'll never find
No matter how far away i may roam.
Her comforting smile is one of a kind,
and her arms, to me, will always be home.

A true friend more precious than God above;
She'll always be the bearer of my love.
