My Life
Wanna know my life story, huh?

Well, let's start out at 4 PM on February 17, 1982. That's when I was born into this crazy world. In Akron General Hospital I was born to my parents Roger and Kathleen Rose. They decided to name me Amy Marie Rose. My mom's favorite name was Amy and it was a tradition in my family to have the middle name Marie. So, anyways, I was born and went home with my dad, my mom, and my older brother, Shawn who was almost two at the time.
When I was five, my mom and dad decided to get a divorice, and I didn't know the real reason they got divoriced until the summer of '97. *That summer was really weird.* Anyways, my dad moved to like Massillon or something, I don't remember exactly where it was, but it wasn't that far from us. Later on he moved in with my grandma in Tallmadge, which still wasn't very far from us. We got to see him like all the time, but of course it wasn't the same. Anyways, when I was 8, the guy that owned our house *we were just renting it* wanted to sell it, and my mom didn't have enough money to buy it. So, we had to move. And my mom just had to move to another city. So, we moved about half an hour south to North Canton, and that's where she grew up.
I started up third grade almost right away *we moved in like August or something* in a Catholic school. In Akron, I had gone to a public school called Firestone Park Elementary School. I loved that school. This Catholic school was called St. Paul's and it's where my mom went when she was little. I hated it from the start. I had like no friends. Everyone was mean to me. And I didn't get out of that place until after 8th grade. For the most part, I guess 8th grade was ok. I actually had some friends that year. Anyways, then I was so glad I was finally getting out of there and into a public high school.
Hoover High. My mom went there too, by the way. It wasn't so great freshman year and I only had like 2 friends or something, but it was better than St. Paul's I guess. Sophomore year was pretty good though. I started making friends that year and now I've got some of the greatest friends anyone could ever have! We've had problems, but we stick by each other through everything. Some people still screw with me and try to piss me off, but I just don't put up with their crap anymore.
During my senior year, February 28, 2000 to be exact, I finally got my first boyfriend, Mike G. He is 16 and a freshman. Man, I am so happy with him, although we have our problems, I care about him so much.
Class of 2000. I graduated from Hoover High in June of 2000. In July, I began working at OfficeMax. It is not the greatest job, but it pays the bills for now, and there are a lot worse jobs out there. I am just glad I am not asking "Would you like fries with that?" No offense to those who do, just not my line of work. I would never want to work at a fast-food restaurant, or any restaurant for that matter. I also am glad to not be asking "Would you like paper or plastic?" because I would not want to work at a grocery store either. Again, no offense to those who do, just not my thing.
On August 28, 2000, I broke up with Mike. It was our 6 month anniversary. That's a long time to be with someone, especially when its your very first boyfriend. Don't get me wrong, I cared about him a lot. I still care about him. But we were having a lot of problems, and I decided to ask him for a temporary seperation. The seperation didn't work out too well, so we just broke it off completely. A couple weeks later or so, I found out that he had cheated on me around our 3 month anniversary. I am very upset about that, although I am not all that surprised to find that out. Oh well. I will continue to try to move on from Mike for a *long* time, I'm sure.
On October 26, 2000, I began dating John P., a 23 year old guy who I work with. He's very nice and absolutely *nothing* like Mike, which can only be a good thing.
John finally started getting me to go to church, and reaffirm my Christianity. To find out more about my Christian life, read my section called my Christian story.
On May 30, 2001, John and I broke up. Our relationship was just not meant to be. Friendship is fine between us, but nothing more. It took us 7 months to figure that out, but oh well. We are still friends, so that is good.
On December 27, 2001, I began dating Rick D. He's 4 years older than me. He's awesome. He treats me wonderfully and is the sweetest guy I've ever known. Hopefully we will be together for a LONG time. :-)
On August 2, 2002, I quit OfficeMax. I got sick of that place and all the crap that comes with it. It would take too long to explain here, so if there's any questions, just ask me sometime.
On August 16, 2002, Rick asked me to marry him. I said yes, of course. :-P We are now planning for an August 2003 or September 2003 wedding.
Well, Rick and I decided on September 6, 2003 for our wedding day. We can't wait!!!
In December of 2002, Rick and I decided to postpone the wedding for several personal reasons.
On March 10, 2003, I began working for a direct marketing company as a customer service representative. Basically, I listen to people yell at me all day on the phone. Not too exciting, but better than OfficeMax.
Around the end of May or the beginning of June of 2003, Rick and I broke off our engagement, and agreed to date, but be allowed to date other people.
On June 25, 2003, Rick called it off completely. I am single once again.
So, anyways, that's my life and if you wanna know more about my life, just ask, k? 1
