Over the years many dolphins have perished at the hands of fisherman as a result of their belief that the dolphins have been consuming all the fish. In fact, the fishermen themselves are to blame for the decline in the fish population. They have over fished areas with their new fishing technologies. Yet they have to have somebody to blame, and I suppose they will continue to do so until every dolphin is dead. One would assume they would realize their mistake at that point, all too late I'm afraid.
It is only with education that we can all see that the dolphin population is on a great decline and the great myth needs to be resolved so that they can continue to prosper just as we have done.
Dolphins ask nothing from us. In fact, they seem to enjoy our company. They are very playful and quite enthusiastic about their human company. They ask only for the right to live their lives as they were intended to do.
