"Of the Seven Wonders of the Milwaukee area... Summerfest, Miller Park, Al's Run, FirStar fireworks, et.al...., the Bus Party™ is probably the least well known and the least attended. But it is, by far, the most fun packed into 6 blurry hours of kidney jolting, carousing, sight-seeing, history making irresponsibility that you'll ever know in your short lives."

- Brad Basten,
Bus Party™ veteran

What's a Bus Party™?  My friends and I rent out a transit bus, wire it with a 70-watt sound system, fill it with booze, and go bar hopping!  Read on for more information...

The History

When the first Bus Party™ was thrown is a fact lost to history. Friends indicate that at least one was thrown in the late 1970's at Marquette University by the Sig Eps fraternity. At least that's the story I got from Karl Kukor, the "patron saint" of parties at Marquette.

Drinking & Gambling

Like any good party, there are plenty of these games during a Bus Party™. Some take place on the bus, others in the bar; some can only be played during an event like a Bus Party™. Read up on some of the favorites.

Wapatui Recipe

At long last, the secret recipe of the drink that powers the Bus Party™ has been made public!  Made from a concoction of three boozes and laced with alcohol-soaked fruit.

In The News

The fame of the Bus Party™ is spreading!  Here's some news articles from some of the Bus Party™ bars, plus a few articles about the Bus Party™ itself.
