See? He's a Sweetheart!Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher turned matchmaker for a TV presenter - by writing a love note he used to pop the question to his girlfriend. The soft-hearted Wonderwall singer wrote the letter for MTV star Eddy Temple-Morris, after the pair bumped into each other on a train journey. Temple-Morris, 32, was drinking and chatting with Gallagher - who tied the knot himself last year to actress Patsy Kensit - as they travelled to Manchester. The presenter said: "We met by accident, got on like a house on fire and he basically wrote a proposal note for me to my then-girlfriend who is from Thailand. "I told him I was going to go to Thailand for Christmas and I thought I was going to propose to her and that he was her favourite singer in her favourite British band. "So I went to Thailand armed with this note from Liam Gallagher saying: `Dear Tai, Marry Eddy. Definitely, not maybe. Lots of love, Liam.' How could she say no after that?" Temple-Morris - the son of Leominster MP Peter Temple-Morris, who quit the Conservative Party last year and now sits as an independent - married his bride just over a year ago. "I'm probably the happiest married man in the world. Liam did me a big favour and I'll never hear a bad word against him," he added. Temple-Morris, who presents MTV's Up For It! music slot, will front Channel 5's Pepsi Chart Show from Wednesday, February 4, along with actress and singer Rhona Mitra. January '98.
