Comments: Pretty interesting site - sites that don't just rant on about how evil such things are seem relatively rare. I don't agree with all the tips given for using ouija - some of the things said to be relevant, I understand as having no relation to using a boa d. This seems to have been proved in what I have been doing. I'd be _VERY_ interested to hear from anyone who is familiar with "Sphere Dropping", Subs and Elders, 11-dimensional realities, or Mirrored Magic. I'd be willing to expand upon these ideas if anyone is interested about them also. :)

Comments: I remember buying the parker brothers ouija board. My half sister took a liking to it, to the point of constantly borrowing it... when we lived in my parents house. Alicia kept getting strange messages, about her friends in school and wouldn't think muc about it. --- The board spoke about a girl next door getting raped / another one dying from a drug problems... due to the medication she was on to balance her hormones. I almost felt damn near guilty giving her the board in the first place. --- Yet, I t ink, that I wanted to buy a seperate board for myself and start using it, a year after that... That's when I was told that I will be trying to get away from my parents in order to claim independance. That was quite true / due to the fact that my step dad couldn't do housepayments anymore... and depended on me to keep it afloat... but I was in love with another person / and had to choose either a relationship or my parents. --- Parents were not happy with my decision... and even 10 years into my relationsh p... they still blame me for their downfall. Yet, I've never been more happier with my spouse, than I ever had as a kid.

I left off on my last post about the issue of spiritual beliefs. Personally, I say, whatever it is that works for you, great. The thing I feel is lacking in a big way, is respect for spiritual beliefs. Sure, as an Espiritista, I feel offended when I walk nto a toy store and see stacks of ouija boards on sale; and any eight year old can walk in a buy one to "play" with. As much as I liked your site the equivalent of "play" with "mediumship" sounds very exploitative. Much of these two sites(ouijawitch) seem to take a "play" attitude with this. Has it ever occured to you that mediumship might be a religious belief? I find it highly offensive that parkerbrothers mass markets these boards as if mediumship were some kind of cheap parlor trick. Does anyone at thi site know any REAL mediums? At any rate, I loved the gallerys, I would like to link this to my site on Misa Blanco, White Table Mediumship, but I feel so much disrespect to the spirit world here. Also some of the "directions" found here for using one of hese boards, at least if you are a real spirit medium, are highly inaccurate. I would suggest that you do some reading about mediumship, which includes all forms of automatic writing, the book I am suggesting was written in 1869 and is available in print, it's also downloadable through a link to my site with the brazilian spiritist federation. "The Book of Mediums" by Allan Kardec.This book has much respected and valuable information about boards and automatic writing as it covers all forms of mediumship. llan Kardecs books are practically bibles to those who are spirit mediums in the islands and south america. This book also gives COMPLETE and ACCURATE information about working as a spirit medium. The book has a decidedly christian slant, which makes it v ry popular in religions where catholic saints are syncronized with african dieties. When I started working as a medium, the information in this book was very valuable. Please, I would like to see more respect for religious beliefs here, don't be like the ew agers who snip and cut at every tradition to create their own reality. Ecclectic, is a term that cannot be applied to mediumship; mediumship is a lifelong spiritual commitment to the sprits of the dead.

First, I have to say I really enjoyed and was impressed with the collections of boards, the historical information both here and on "ouijawitch". I also understand that there is an ongoing controversy about whether this is the subconcious or spirits of th dead. I guess that depends on your spiritual beliefs. Also, one thing I would like to point out here, "channeling" and "mediumship" are two different things, while channeling may or may not involve spirits of the dead, mediumship is, as it sounds; you ar a medium by which a spirit passes through, and this word ALWAYS REFERS to spirits of the dead. Ouija, being a form of automatic writing, I think can be both. But if you are working as a medium, and using any form of automatic writing, it is essential(as n all forms of mediumship) to identify and prove that you are really speaking with the spirit of the dead. There are better forms of mediumship than automatic writing, what I mean by better, is simply that if you are a spirit medium often you can bring th spirits down directly on yourself, direct possesion. I like automatic writing, have designed boards, and work with a pendulum as a method of automatic writing.I think any form of automatic writing, is a great way of developing one's mediumship to the poi t that you will probably be able to pass these spirits through you directly, after a while and if you have the commitment required. Again, all of this depends on your spiritual beliefs.
