you also seem to have missed apoint you yourself bring up "it all depends on how you wish to use it" you seem to have neglected to remember that there are two will in play when using the ouija yours and the spirit most spirits are both helpful and benevolent, however like people some choose not to be so friendly, and you create a small form of attatchment to themby calling them.

The inherant flaw of the ouija is that it has no safeguards 99.9% of the time you are fine you get an average jo that will provide knowledge or at the least entertainment, use it with a friend whose judgment and will you trust. Now for the reason my wife gets a bit irrational about them..what happens when a teen (it nearly always is) under the influence of something(usually alchohol or pot both of which dampen spiritual resistance) is in a bad place mentally (like I said a teen) and uses it alone?

You see you may be mature and responsible enough to guide what comes through and then to put it back. but will the average kid? not usually? part of the training I recieved when I was younger involved dealing with "selfish"(there I didn't use the "E" word happy now) spirits some thing out there don't exercise there evil ,but somethings out there don't recognize their good either, it's not really a large problem to put them back wjere they belong ,the problem lies inhelping the kid understand why there was a voice in his head for 2 weeks that didn't act like him ,that would say things to his friends to push them away and leave him with nothing but the Ouija to talk to. It hurts me to see a kid go through this ,how do I help him explain to his friends , and family that how he was acting wasn't entirely his doing ("well mrs. Johnson you see Timmy Didn't do his chores and randomly called you a bitch and a whore because he was possesed " yeah right that'll work uh huh sure it will) I know 8 kids off hand that are in institutions for this kind of thing .

Wolfe's biggest problem was that you just suggested it without explaining safe guards . what ever you decide have fun but be safe doing it ,if you must use the Ouija use it with a friend whome you trust have a third person not using it in the room, and choose your topics and questions carefully. If you are given a word you can't pronounce change the last consonant in it before sounding it out.
oh yeah neither of us are old or scared just sick of seeing kids in pain (she's 28/ I'm 29) she heals them after I break the hold.(I have scars from knives that weren't there) and I can't even use Ouija boards (they either break or fly across the room)
