Anyway, I need some help to get rid of it. She's too freaked out because she's been there when most of the stuff happened. Apparently it can even mess with her computer when she's typing so she has stopped using it.
Its not gotten dangerous, merely annoying, but any help or suggestions ASAP would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The Curtain-burning Ouija

In the summer of 1986 a friend of mine and I decided to buy a ouija board to kill the monotony of summer vacation. Anyhow, We took it over to my partents house and with another buddy we were attempting to get the thing to move. We had little success. I remember that Monday Night Baseball was on and we asked it to tell us the score and it was all wrong. we did contact an alleged Spaniard, Fred Tered, who had died in 1454 or something. We accused each other of having moved the planchette even though we all denied it. The session ended and my friends went home, leaving the board at my house.
The next morning I had to work at 7:00 a.m. and my usual means of transportation had broken down. Therefore, my mother was going to have to drop me off. She did just that. As she approached my house, around 7:10 or so, she noticed that the curtains in our newly remodeled rec room were on fire. At first she thought it was the sun or her headlights. But, the sun was behind the clouds and her headlights were off. As she got closer, she could see the burned portions of the curtains begin to fall to the floor. She could tell that the room was filling with smoke. My sister was upstairs sleeping. This added to her panic. She accelerated, her eyes fixed on the curtains, and pulled into our driveway. She raced into the house to find the curtains in one piece, no smoke, and my sister sleeping peacefully in her bed.
It just so happens that the ouija was directly above where these curtains were. My mom was afraid to tell us for a few days until she finally told me and ordered me to let my friend, who was part owner, to keep the board. The board never came back into the house, even though it did spend the summer of 1990 in the trunk of my car. And, of course, our curtains have never burned since either.
I have had other experiences with the ouija but they might have a lot to do with the others who were pushing it. But you never know...
