I was born in 1956 in Joplin, MO and raised there. After graduating from Memorial High School in 1974 I attended
for two years majoring in Computer Programming and Operations.
In 1977, after working for Motorola in Webb City, MO, I joined
the U.S. Army to learn more about computers and electronics.
I went through several computer and electronics schools for the MOS
27B, Land Combat Support System Test Specialist.
I was stationed at

Redstone Arsenal, AL
and Ft. Stewart, GA,
and Merrill Barracks, Nurnberg, Germany. I medically retired in 1984.
