Our Story
Our story as a Church began with a small group of Christians meeting together in North Sydney. This group eventually bought a hall on our present site and a Baptist fellowship was formed in October 1919.
Since then there have been many changes. The hall was soon replaced by a new church building and that also again would be eventually replaced by another. Our present complex of building consists of our 300 seat auditorium, our education centre, hall and offices.
A church however isn't a collection of buildings but the group of people who gather in them. Therefore, the church is never static but constantly growing and changing. We are now a group of people from many cultural backgrounds. As a church we have welcomed the growing diversity of the people in Chatswood and our vision is to be an international community of believers
