Our Staff
Pastor
Our pastor is Philip Calman. Philip is responsible for the teaching ministry in the Church. He leads, trains and equips through preaching and teaching the Bible.
Philip previously worked as an electrical technician in the steel industry. He graduated from Moore Theological College. He is married to Kylie and they have two children. Philip enjoys reading, cycling, swimming, bushwalking and coaching his son's soccer team.
Pastoral Trainees
We currently have two pastoral trainees who are in the process of training for pastoral ministry.
Paul Davey is currently studying at Moore Theological College. Paul enjoys playing soccer, reading, chess and spending time with his fiancee. Paul trained as an accountant, has spent time on the mission field in Africa and is now doing further study for gospel ministry.
David Steele is also studying at Moore Theological College. David is married to Elissa and they are expecting their first child. David loves touch footy and bush walking. He trained as a teacher, has worked in Christian ministry for a number of years and is now training to be able to teach others the bible.
English For Learners Coordinator
Debra Urqhart coordinates our English For Learners program. Debra originally trained as a teacher and has specialised in English as a second language. Debra is married with two children and in her spare time enjoys a game of golf.
Our Playtime Coordinator
The lovely Kylie Calman coordinates our Playtime group. Originally Kylie trained and worked in the area of paediatric physiotherapy. She has had years of experience working with children in various capacities and has two children of her own. Kylie is married to the pastor and she enjoys time to get together with friends
