And the gray ring that's trying to take over my eyes. I don't know what it is, but it grows. I may be dying. Personality: I'm cool. Ehh...really, let's see. I'm laid back and pretty calm. I have a natural inclination to underreact. I've lately been trying to work on that. I'm easily pleased and optimistic. I can be very sarcastic, but I try to hold myself in check. I like dry humor. Most people seem to think I'm weird. By far, my two main motivators in life are the desire to please and a desire to understand. Age: 20 Status: Single. I'm a player. People suck. Religion: A combination of Christianity, Taoism, animism, and totemism. I believe in any religion that makes a man a better person. Not that this really matters. What I do Job: I attend school. I'm doing a poor job of it, though. I have issues with attending class on a regular basis, if at all. I hate time. And grades based on time. I'm also a recruiter. I like it. It's lightening to see kids that think they only have one option broaden their horizons. Hobbies: in no particular order. Reading. Equivalent to crack cocaine. I'm dependent on it. I usually prefer a good book over sleep. I try to tell myself, "Lisa, you need sleep. You're going to be tired tomorrow, and the book can wait. You're going to be so pissed at yourself the next day." It doesn't work. I like to read just about anything. But, in the fiction genre...I really go for anything that's sappy romance, (preferably historical romance) or horror. The more gruesome and sickening the better. I'm not a big fan of mystery for some reason. Computers. I like them. I was getting A+ certified in high school, but as with most things my attention wandered and I lost interest. I like the availability of all the information and stuff. Games. I like dominoes and spades and the trash talking that comes with play. I've never been beaten at Scrabble. I like word games and puzzles. My baby is my Playstation 2. I mainly go for fighting, exploration with puzzles, and specialized skills type games. There are a couple of games out there that combine all three. I can play those forever. Women. They're ok; I prefer men. I'm currently extremely relationship shy. Bars and Drinking. I like bars just for the atmosphere. I used to drink to drink, but I stopped a long while back. I drink socially, but not to get drunk or anything. I'm pretty big on self-control and alcohol doesn't mesh too well with that concept. That said...I do like whiskey and Guiness. Smoking: Cigarettes go well with an intellectual conversation and a light buzz. I wouldn't buy any though. Weed...great stuff. I would like to get really really high by myself and meditate. They say it's a great experience if you can control it. I try to avoid situations where it's expected for me to smoke, now. I'm too paranoid about losing my scholarships to smoke anymore. It's not worth it. Friends. I don't have very many real ones. They fit on a type of tier. I have my bestest best friend: Daniel. I love him and would be a much more lonely person without him. Get accepted to Vet school, get my d.v.m. I like herbs. I want to learn the medicinal properties and be able to generally name plants and what they can do by sight. I'm into the whole holistic health thing. Obtain a black belt in karate or some other martial arts. I was pretty good at it back when and it would help me with my hand-eye coordination. It would also be helpful if I'm ever in a fight. I want to be able to protect myself and not feel like I should have to back down. Plus it's just cool. Learn languages: I should probably get around to speaking Spanish sometime. I can understand it just fine. I was thinking of German second, then Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Cherokee, some other NA languages, maybe some of those Scandanavian languages just because I'm fascinated with Pekka.
