Kristy pushed open the door into the room where the guys were harmonizing, and Brian, Nick and AJ looked up, surprised at the fuming expression on her face.
"Hey Kristy" AJ finally said.
"Hey Bone, Brian. Listen, I've gotta borrow Nick for a few minutes" She said with an even tone.
"Uh, we've really got to work on our harmonies sweetie, can't this wait?" Nick asked, partially because they really did have to work on the harmonies, partially because the expression on Kristy's face wasn't pretty.
Kristy shook her head. "No" she practically spat. "It can't."
Nick looked at the guys helplessly. "Okay...I'll be back in a few seconds guys". Kristy stalked into one of the rooms off of the main area. 'Help' Nick mouthed as he followed her into the little room and pulled the door closed.
"What ever it is" Brian began "He's dead."
"Definately" AJ affirmed.

Nick swallowed. "So whats up?"
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Kristy refrained herself from screaming.
"Whatcha mean?" Nick was confused.
"Do you lie to all of your girlfriends, or am I the first?"
Nick knitted his eyebrows in thought. "Lie?"
"We're not allowed to have sex....sound familiar?" she spat at him, disgusted.
'Uh Oh' Nick thought to himself.
"Were you just gonna wait for a good fuck, and then be like 'Oh yeah, Kris, by the way if Denise finds out we had sex you're off the tour' or were you planning on never telling me" Kristy's tone was icy.
"Um..." was all Nick managed before Kristy cut him off.
"What the hell is so screwed up in your brain that you wouldn't tell me this?"
He shrugged timidly. "I wanted to tell you bu--"
"You wanted to tell me" she scoffed.
"Will you let me finish?!" Nick shouted at her, and Kristy snapped her mouth shut. "I wanted to tell you, but I was afraid that it would affect us expressing our..." Nick racked his brain for the words he needed. "I was afraid it would affect the expression of our love, that you would be less fond of PDA's"
"The expression of our love...hmmm, that's basically saying you were afraid I wouldn't satisfy your horny urges" Kristy's voice dripped with sarcasm.
"No, it's not! Stop twisting my words! We were in love, and wanted to be able to show people that!" Nick defended himself.
"All while telling people that you don't have enough time to date. Good way to show it. Plus, why are you saying 'were in love'? I don't know about you, but up until a few seconds ago, it was still love"
"Then why are we having this conversation" he asked her.
"Because you fucked up. Nick, I'm not a 'you have sex after marraige' person, I go more for the 'you have sex when you're in love' type person, and guess what buddy, I'm in love. I would of had sex with you, but then what if I had?? What if Denise had found out?? There goes my future!"
"How does your future relate to this?"
"Because if she'd found out, then I'm off the tour. O-f-f t-h-e t-o-u-r" her eyes were flashing with rage, and Kristy was struggling to keep a resonanable tone. Nick's expression was blank. "You really don't understand, do you?"
Nick shook his head. "No, not really. If we're in love, why is this happening?"
"Because this isn't a matter of love, this is a matter of principle. Being here on this tour, this is my big chance, my chance to show the world that I have the goods, and that I can actually sing, and that I have talent. I can't just float my way onto the scene and expect people to fall all over me, cause I'm female--I can't exactly rely on my sex appeal here, most guys don't listen to pop, and I pray that the girls won't listen to me cause they think I'm sexy"
"Are you saying that I just show a little skin, and people will buy a CD? Are you saying I don't have any talent?" Nick was pissed off, nobody, but nobody could get away with insulting his music, one of the most sacred things in his life.
"No, I'm saying that you've already got a built in fan-base. You don't have to worry about people not liking your music. I do. Without this tour, my whole chance of success is basically blown."
"What's the big deal, we never actually had sex!"
"We might of! God, you are so dense!" Kristy threw her hands in the air. Things that she used to find cute about Nick were now incredibly annoying. "Are all guys as stupid as you, relationship wise? I should have known."
"What about you?!" Nick stared at Kristy angrily. "It was you who was always like 'What if we break up?' and 'We won't last forever'. Never have I met someone so easily sidetracked from the moment."
"I'm realistic!" Kristy cried.
"And un-willing to believe that something good can actually happen to you" he shot back quickly.
"Well I was right!" Kristy shouted. "We're having something very break-up like right now! Jeez, stupid"
"Jeez, Bitch" Nick retorted.
"Have you always been such an asshole, how could I have missed it?" Kristy tapped her temples, "I must have been a little wacked."
"Have you always been such a no-talent, PMSing, wench? Why the hell do you even have a contract, you sound like a screeching cat when you sing?!"
Kristy gasped softly. None of the insults so far had actually hurt her, until then. He crossed the line. Kristy knew she was being hypocritical, considering the verbal lashing she'd given him, but that was the least of her thoughts. Without a retort, or even a word, Kristy spun around and walked out.
Nick returned to the other room, and ignored the quizzical glances from the other two guys.

Eventually, both Nick and Kristy will come to regret their words, but at that moment in time, neither of them cared. For they had both been hurt by love.
