Shaver Lake is located 45 miles northeast of Fresno
on Highway 168 and is the gateway to the Central Sierra! From Shaver Lake, one has access
to 6 major lakes, a major winter ski area (Sierra Summit), unlimited backpacking, hiking,
boating and other recreational opportunities. Shaver Lake is at the 5600 foot elevation and enjoys
a cool summertime climate and a fog free winter. Our cabin is in "Sierra Cedars" off Bretz Mill Rd at
approx. 5800' , only a few
minutes from Shaver Village and the lake. Sierra Summit
Ski Resort is only a
