Thinkin' about you..Trisha Yearwood

I'm not quite sure whats goin' on.
But all day through and all night long,
I've been thinkin' abour you,I've been thinkin' about you
The look in your eyes, when you smile tht way
the sound of your voice sayin' my name,
I've been thinkin' about you, just keep thinkin' about you
This single minded fascination I got,
do you call it love if you dont then what
all I know is I dont know what you've done
and this train of thought aint about to jump the track that its on
In the back of my mind there's a secret place
but the whole world knows by the smile on my face
that i've been thinkin' about you, cant stop thinkin' about you,
I know its crazy calling you this late
when the only thing i wanted to say
is I've been thinkin' about you and I do love thinkin' about you

Tears are falling on my story book,
Colors are running,I dont want to look.
There is a cloud on my looking glass,
full of questions I am afraid to ask.
Afraid to love, such a chance to take,
if I love and lose my fragile heart will break....whiteheart

It gets in my way,but it wont be denied
Here in my heart, the door is still open
Waiting for you,to walk in to my life...chicago

"They are wrong who say that love is blind. On the contrary, nothing - not even the smallest detail - escapes the eyes; one sees everything in the loved one, notices everything; but melts it all into one flame with the great and simple: "I love you"' -Unknown

"I can't belive I've lived this long without having your love," she whispered weakly.
"You have had it. I've always loved you," he said quietly, threading his fingers through her hair to press her head against his heart. "I just never knew your name." BY--Sandra Brown

"Fear gets in the way of love, and I've discovered that fear, and not hate, is the opposite of love. Think about it: Love and hate are closely bound emotions, but cousins, not enemies. It's fear that kills love. It's fear we feel when love is threatened."
- Tim Allen in I'm Not Really Here

"He doesn't know what loving her could mean
He doesn't know a single dream she dreams
He doesn't feel the rhythm of her heart
How can he stop the tears before they start
There's so much of her soul he doesn't see
He'll never know how true her love can be
How can he ever give her what she needs
He doesn't even know her..." - John Berry

"A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we're pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we're safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we're two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we've found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life."

"there are hills and mountains between us..always something to get over.. if i had my way, surely you'd be closer..i need you closer..you can reach me by railway..you can reach me by trailway..i dont care how you get here, just get here if you can.." --oleta adams-

I'm out here in the dark
All alone and wide awake
Come and find me

I'm empty and I'm cold
My heart's about to break
Come and find me

I need you to come here and find me
Cause without you I'm totally lost
I've hung a wish on every star
It hasn't done much good so far...

I used to believe in forever
But forever's too good to be true

I LOVE YOU
Three little words; such a mystery of They are fierce like an eagle, soft like a Dove You find them in poems; in laughter; in rain They give you such pleasure; they render deep pain Sometimes too quickly spoken; too easily said Yet you crave the very sound that can make you feel dead But still when emotions are too great for words The strength of your feelings insist these three be heard They can calm and comfort a sad lonely heart Be the end of your world, or bring a new one to start Riding waves of a roller coaster's frenzy ride Moods swinging up and down; from it you can not hide To try to describe it, would take eons of time 'Cause so often it appears without reason or rhyme You can soar through the heavens on these little words Or you can live a life time and they'll never be heard Love will demand to be felt and followed and seen It's in a trembling voice, or lines read in between Why try to run from it? It runs faster, you see It will catch up and surpass even you and even me The love I have inside my heart is eternally true I dare not question it; I simply accept: It's always been there silently waiting for you...

SALTY TEARS

With eyes that sting from salty tears, I see a heart silently counting years. Not many left to share with you. Why can't you see what my eyes do?

There is no time to bide and waste. It speeds along with frightening haste. Why can't you see what my eyes do? Through tears that sting from needing you.

With each new day that hastens by. More tears are shed, for you I cry. It's sad and sad, as sad can be. That you can't see the way I see.

Ten million miles or oceans deep, Should not a loving heart to keep, The distance growing by leaps and bounds. A way to me you've still not found?

I'd crawl through fire on hands and knees. For just one moment in your eyes to see. That your heart, too, with desire yearns, The midnight moon with me to burn.

But you don't see what my eyes do. They only see what's in front of you. I'm way back here, behind the clouds. The one wrapped in the blackened shroud.

Go stand on the shore of the ocean; do! Taste there the water as it rolls by you. The bitterness will sting your tongue for years. If you don't soon stop the flow of my salty tears.

"Maybe I Will, Maybe l Won't" by:Marcie R.
Maybe I'll walk outside today or ride my bike to the park.
Maybe I will, maybe l won't.
Maybe I'll watch T.V. or listen to the radio.
Maybe I will, maybe l won't.
Maybe I'll write you a letter or call you up on the phone.
Maybe I will, maybe l won't.
Maybe I'll figure out why we are together and God doesn't want us apart.
Maybe I will, maybe l won't.
Maybe I'll say "I love you!", and maybe you'll say "I love you, too!"
Maybe we will, maybe we won't.
God has put us together, and l pray he'll never tear us apart.
Maybe he will, maybe he won't.
I pray he won't.

"In these days of no regrets I'll keep mine to myself, and all the things we never said, I can say for someone else. Nothing lasts forever but we always try, and I just can't help but wonder why we let it pass us by." - Amanda Marshall

A path is only a path, and there is no affront, to oneself or to others, in dropping it if that is what your heart tells you . . . Look at every path closely and deliberately. Try it as many times as you think necessary. Then ask yourself alone, one question . . . Does this path have a heart? If it does, the path is good; if it doesn't it is of no use. .... Carlos Castaneda, The Teachings of Don Juan...

*** The Mask of Dreams ***

Her life is a facade of colors
Drawn with the crayon of hope.
She's naive enough to think
her mystical dream of love
will someday be a reality.
her wistful heart will not listen
to the candor of her conscience. -- Susan Ehring

Around The Corner: By Henson Towne
Around the corner I have a friend,
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friends face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows I like him just as well,
As in the days when I rang his bell.
And he rang mine if, we were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.
"Tomorrow" I say "I will call on Jim"
"Just to show that I'm thinking of him."
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner!- yet miles away,
"Here's a telegram sir"
"Jim died today."
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner, a vanished friend.

Remember to always say what you mean. If you love someone, tell them. Don't be afraid to express yourself. Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you. Because when you decide that it is the right time, it might be too late. Seize the day. Never have regrets. And most importantly stay close to your friends and family, for they have helped make you the person that you are today. Pass this along to your friends. It could make a difference. The difference between doing all that you can or having regrets which may stay with you forever.

"SOME FRIENDS ARE FOREVER"
Sometimes in life, you find special friends: friends who change your life forever just by being part of it. Friends who convince you that there is always an unlocked door just waiting for you to open. This is forever friendship.

Forever friends that when you're down, and the world seems dark and empty, lift you up in spirit and make the dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and beautiful again. Forever friends that can get you through the hard times, the sad times, and the confused times.

And, if you should turn and walk away, forever friends that will follow, if you should lose you way. Forever frinds that guide you and cheer you on in life.

Forever friends that hold your hand and tell you that everything is going to be alright.

Forever friends always make you feel happy and content, and you need never worry.

Forever friends are for life, and forever has no end. (Author Unknown)

The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer (an Indian elder)

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.

It doesn't interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon.
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shrivelled and closed from fear of further pain!

I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn't interest me if the story you're telling me is true.
I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. I want to know if you can be faithful and therefore be trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see beauty even when it is not pretty every day, and if you can source your life from God's presence. I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, "Yes!"

It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children.

It doesn't interest me who you are, how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away. I want to know if you can be alone with yourself, and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.
