Our Friendship Is A Blessing

Through this place called "cyberland"
I happened to meet you
And our friendship began.
It started with "hello"
Then turned into a chat
As we traded conversation
About this and that.
All the things a friend should be
I have found in you;
It's very clear from all the things
That you say and do.
But most of all I notice
What sets you far apart
From others that I've met is
You listen with your heart.
You hear not only what I say
But know my thoughts as well-
You seem to know what I think
Before I even tell...
You what is on my mind
Before the words are out
You manage to know what they are
Of that I have no doubt.
You know when I am happy
Or when I'm sad and blue.
Is it any wonder
I am so fond of you?
Now, how could fate have known
What a blessing it would be
The day you came into my life
And became a friend to me?
