Why the United Nations is obsolete

Oh how exciting it is to see if the UN weapons inspectors find any WMD's(weapons of mass destruction) in Iraq; im nearly sitting on the edge of my seat with drama as perhaps are you but guess what, there is no Santa Claus, and the UN is obsolete.
In essence folks, the worlds a stage and you are players. It makes no difference whether the UN finds WMD's in Iraq or not, US foreign policy is going to move forward as planned and everyone knows this.
The simple truth is that the United Nations is nothing more than an old croney diplomat bin and im here to tell you it serves absolutely no purpose and here's why.
The origins of the United Nations traces back to the "League of Nations." which was ultimately dissolved for one primary reason.... it was useless.
When Hitler was building his military in the early 30's the League of Nations did nothing. When Hitler invaded Poland in 1939 the LN did nothing.
Neville Chamberlain was removed in Britain and replaced by Churchill and it was Churchill who understood the threat of Hitler but by then it was too late as Hitler had invaded France and Britain... the League of Nations did nothing.

The United Nations was post World WarII and its original intent was valid and at the time had some resolve since collectively at that time the United Nations had a common enemy, Communism.
Europe was the common denominator of the original United Nations. The free world had a common enemy in the communist Soviet Union. The Soviets had atomic technology and were eager to spread communism. East Germany was communist and a direct threat to West Germany as well as France and Britain and the result of these distinct divisions was an armaments build up with communist missiles pointing directly at free nation missiles. In the Soviets desire to spread communism came addtional problems with Asia, primarily China and the influx of communism in Korea and Vietnam; both of which were originally United Nations projects but ended up being military excursions of the United States as it turns out but the primary point is that the United Nations had commonality and resolve in one primary enemy that threatened the European continent, Communism.

Fast forward to the 1980's if you will.... the Soviet Union falls as does the Berlin Wall.
We now have a united democratic Germany and an independant Russia with independent sovereignty in the Baltic states which had before been under communist rule. There are no direct singular threats to France, or to Germany, or to Europe in general. The common enemy now is terrorism but who does it really affect at this time? It affects the United States, not Europe, not the United Nations.
The UN doesnt want to find any WMD's in Iraq, they dont care, it doesnt affect them.
What did the UN do when Grenada was invaded... Nothing. What did the UN do when India and Pakistan went at it.. nothing.
What did the UN do when Milosovich was slaughtering people in Bosnia... virtually nothing other than ask the United States to go put a stop to it.. and why.. because its Europe is why....
The UN had no trouble with a coalition in the Gulf War of 1991 because the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait affected oil, not just for the US, but for Europe and if it affects Europe then the UN gets interested, otherwise its passive and useless.
When the US goes into Iraq,, WMD's or not, the UN will do nothing.
If North Korea builds nukes, the UN will do nothing.
If China invades Taiwan, the UN will do nothing.
Its high time to understand the United Nations is an embodiment of nothing.
The United Nations is led by a man who represents nothing, it has no money other than what is given to them in a collection bin, they have no military or means to enforce their convictions other than what is donating to them primarily by the United States and Great Britain.
The UN inspectors and the United States playing along with this is similar to how one would approach getting along with your neighbor if you're putting up a fence in your yard, you have the right to do it... you're going to do it... but you'd prefer your neighbor be happy about it yet either way, the fence is going up.
The world is anew and the United Nations is still in the old.
Take the reality check and understand the world you live in, the United States will be in Iraq come February.
