What do you want to know? Hi, I'm Jeannie.

I'm the single mother of a beautiful seventeen-year old daughter, Chrysti. We moved to Las Vegas a little over a year ago, but we're far enough away from the bright lights and big city to be good. We enjoy all Las Vegas has to offer, but on our terms.
Chrysti brings me lots of joy, and I'm so proud of her... but she's a teenager - need I say more? No teenager is without the typical crises of growing up. With any luck, we'll both make it out of this unscathed. She has had her share of mini-catastrophes, but I thank God many times each day that He saw fit to bring her to me.
My family is very important to me - my parents live in Oregon. My brother and his wife moved closer to them a few years ago, and my sister and her husband are in Southern California. I became an aunt about a year ago - and I couldn't love the little stinker more!
My friends are also very important in my life - both online and offline. I've made so many friends through my work with PartyLite, both hostesses and other consultants. Of course, I've made friends through other sources, but my BEST friend, I met through Girl Scouts. Michele is always there for me - no matter what I ask - and I hope she feels the same about me!
Then, of course, there are the friends I've met online - and some, I've become friends with in real life. For more on those friends, see my "meetings" page.
Humor is a big part of my life - I love jokes. If you enjoy jokes too, see my "jokes" page.
Another passion in my life is candles. I love the ambiance a candle can bring to an otherwise empty room. Since I enjoy them so much, it seemed only natural that I start a new career in sales with PartyLite, introducing others to the beauty of candlelight. You may be interested in some of the amazing facts about candles I've learned. Being a consultant was very profitable, financially and emotionally, but I found it was a lot harder here in Vegas - imagine trying to keep your candles from melting in 110 degree heat, while transporting them from place to place... I think I'll leave the selling to others, and just enjoy them for myself...
Although I don't do it anymore, chat played an integral part in my friendships with many people. Without chat, I would have missed out on many wonderful relationships with real people.
