What do you want to know?

Chrysti is my beautiful 17 year old daughter. She is a Senior this year. One of her favorite things is her 1998 Chevy Cavalier. I couldn't have found a more perfect car for her!

She HATES this picture, but I think she looks cherubic. It's from about eight years agoThis was her prom pic - bad picture, but she's beautiful

Chrysti brings me lots of joy, and I'm so proud of her... She is so active in school. She's been on the Jr. Varsity Cheer Squad (Do you know what those things COST???), and she's edited the school's yearbook. She spends a lot of time in extra-curricular activities, but not as much since she started her part-time job.

She can look sooooooooo innocent, huh?

Chrysti's first love is music - her favorite singers change often now, but her tastes range from Country to Classic, and everything in between! She used to dream of becoming a singer one day - and she has the talent to make it.

Chrysti is an only child, but she has lots of very close friends. She tends to relate better with older people, or little children, although she does have lots of friends her own age. Chrysti babysits for Chalice and Cheyenne whenever she can - and they love her to death! I'm really proud of the way she takes such good care of all of the children she's cared for, even the one with special needs.

She was only about seven here - we used to spend HOURS on that hair!

I guess it's pretty typical, but Chrysti spends LOTS of time on the phone. She decided that she wanted a cell phone - so she got one - she pays for it, so I have no complaints. Don't tell her, but I'm really glad she got it - it makes it so easy to reach her - anywhere, anytime. Now that she has her own car, and works part-time, I don't know how I'd survive not being able to call her on the cell...

I love Chrysti so much, it's impossible to put it into words, but if you're a mother, you understand.

If you have a child, especially a teen, remember to hug her every day (even when she has an attitude!!)

Chrysti and I both love a good joke - some of these aren't appropriate for children her age, but if you're an adult, and you love humor too, check out my "jokes" page.

If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Chrysti, ask her ANYTHING about candles - she knows more than the average adult! If you're interested, you may also check out my candle page.
