February '99 Bulletin

"Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the people!" -- Isaiah 62:10

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." -- Galatians 6:9

We entered the New Year with a Watch Night Service of fasting and prayer where we had a great attendance and a powerful time of prayer and wonderful testimonies of what God has done and the growth in the Lord. The presence of God was there and God's people were being fire-up by the Spirit of God and are geared up to meet the challenges and commitments of 1999. We are going to believe God for great things to happen this year. We thank God that "It is not by our might nor by our power but it is by the Spirit of God", for we would never be able to achieve nor build anything else everlasting unless it is built by God.

God continues to be faithful and good to us. We had a Discipleship Rally and a special full day Sunday service with Pastor Brian Roennfeldt where the Holy Spirit of God began to deal and lay hold of our hearts as the Word of God came forth like a two-edged sword and separated our soul and our spirit. The Word wonderfully and effecively dealt with many issues of our life, leaving a solid impact in many lives.

"Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." -- Psalms 126:5-6

Next we moved on with a 'Fire House' evangelistic night where God drawn in many visitors. Many of them were just sinners. We truly thank God for every worker for their labours, not only in preparing and practising but also in evangelizing to their friends and bringing them in. We believed and know that our labours are not in vain. As we do our part, He is faithful to fulfil His part. We labour and God is the one that gives increase. Praise the Lord!

We know and believe that God has great plans in stored for this Church and each man and woman of this congregation have a part in it with a purpose and destiny in God. Let us not look to our weaknesses nor of others, but let us rise up together as a body in Christ and strive for the perfection and maturity in God, and in giving ourselves to the souls of men and women. And let us run with endurance with our heart and might the race that is set before us. Glory to God.
