We had an awesome crusade with Pastor Keith Nicely. The church was packed virtually every service -- many visitors came, convicted and filled the altar for salvation, and many were gloriously healled in the name of Jesus Christ. The word of God was spoken with authority and in power like a two-edged sword and like fire that consumed the hearts of every man bringing conviction, repentance, encouragement and direction to the people. We also had a wonderful baptism service where 14 people were baptized on that day, including families and individuals, reenforcing their commitment to the Lord.
Powerful, heart-stirring testimonies of answered prayers by Mr. and Mrs. Sunny Koh and Mrs. Low during one of the Sunday morning service. Mrs. Koh said; "....my husband would not have been alive now if God had not saved him. He was wonderfully healed by the power of God...". Mrs. Low testified how God had answered the prayers of her heart. One of her prayers was for her 8 year old son, "...I prayed that he would out from his heart, he would have the fear of the Lord in his heart. One day he told me that he knows when he does wrong things even in secret where no one knows, he knows that there is a God in heaven that is watching...". She also testified of another awesome testimony of how her brother who was stricken with cancer for a number of years, was powerfully and gloriously healed totally through prayers. Such a joy and encouragement to hear the testimonies of these people. God indeed uses people who love Him and are committed to Him, irrespective of age and profession -- like how God uses this elderly couple and a housewife in intercession, for His glorious people. Their commitment and love for God put many of us to shame.
The same Spirit that was in the Book of Acts, is still at work and able. We contend for more of Him and His manifestation in this church and nation. For this we covet your prayers more earnestly as God moves in our church and nation. Pray for our pastors, leaders and workers in field. Uphold them in your daily prayers and contend with us for the presence of God and His work in all our churches and in this nation. Amen.
