A Prince Charlie is the outfit I'm seen wearing here.
This is worn on formal evenings - usually, as in this case, at weddings.
An "Argyll" is normally worn during the day. The wedding I was attending lasted well into the night, so this
was 'appropriate'. An Argyll is styled like a sports jacket, whereas this Prince Charlie is shorter, has tails and has a waistcoat.
The kilt's tartan is Forbes
(from my surname - I have four names and can wear about 12 tartans!)
and looks like The Black Watch but it has a white stripe, additionally.
I am 6'2", I have deep-brown eyes, with 'natural' highlights - yeah, I'm going grey - in my fair hair.
Although I might look like a "Highlander" in this outfit, my soft accent belongs to the south east - with a 'lilt' of family roots in Shetland.
The cyberpals I've met or spoken to, seem to like it.
This shot was taken, by my wife, Lorna in 1994.
Photographs of her are in the previous section.
There are other shots of me in the section you just left - or if you click on this photo, you can see what I look like now.
