DATE OF BIRTH: November 10, 1948.
VITAL STATS: I am a 49 year old single female, no kids, 5 ft. 2 in. tall, a Super-Sized BBW (Big Beautiful Woman), Short Redish-Brown hair and Big blue eyes.
PERSONALITY: I am independent, strong-willed, and can even be assertive when needed. And at the same time I can be quite shy...I have a fun-loving personality...and a witty sense of humor. I am one of the fairest folks you will find!
SIMPLE PLEASURES: I enjoy camping; cooking; reading; playing with my PC; long drives; long, slow walks (especially early winter mornings when no one else is around and it is snowing those HUGE fluffy flakes), designing and sewing my own clothing, some crafts (crewel and cross stitch), and music (varied tastes here). I am just teaching myself how to make designer buttons so my clothing is ALL my design...(and it gives me the chance to play with Play-Doh as I practice!) I would love to take a class in working with clay.
ONE OF THE LOVES OF MY LIFE.....my cat Pumpkin: I LOVE my cat, Pumpkin (a tortoise tabby) and finally have pics up of her and her two sisters, and the rest of the managarie at Christine's Kat Korner.
LIFE: I have an old-fashioned work ethic, and am not happy if I am idle. I enjoy my work more now as it is going through changes...I guess I enjoy the challenge of something new. I don't party, smoke, or drink. I guess I am just an old-fashioned, homespun kind of woman.
CAREER: I own a small home-based desk top publishing business. Recently I have expanded to meet the growing need of both personal and businesses that seek to advertise on the Web. This page (and my other personal pages) are just an examples of my work over the past year...and my learning experiences on the Internet. For me learning HTML and JAVA makes me feel like a sponge, soaking up all the infomation. I hope to get my Web Developer business up and going again here in CA.

ROMANCE: My idea of an nice date would be going to the market together and picking out makings for a candlelit dinner; then cooked by BOTH participants; a fireplace blazing (wish I had one); music on the CD player; and a rich Kona coffee (I don't drink.). Then a video and popcorn later....Oh and cuddling! I used to listen to the radio program called
"Pillow Talk" with Alan Almond of WNIC in Detroit. I sure do miss it!
BTW: I am a hopeless romantic....
I (my nickname was Kristyne) started a channel on EffNet (the first IRC server) back about 4-4.5 years ago called channel #41plus. It was aimed at folks in or around their 40s. It was very popular, with anywhere between 25-40 people on it during the peak hours in the evening. The channel was moved to the Undernet by "meredith" several years ago, and it grew and grew in popularity.
But alas it was time to me to move on...and I did. I moved on to #pirch, Polargeek's irc chat client help channel, and became a regular there, helping new folks with their software problems. I stayed there for about six months, teaching and learning the whole time.
But then I decided to take some time off IRC, and after about a three month hiatus, I returned with a new nickname and provider. I did not return to #41plus, but instead joined #BBW, where I have made the channel my new IRC home, and the great folks there my IRC family. #BBW is a channel that was started for Big Beautiful Women and their Admirers. Well, I fit at least TWO of those criteria! I'm a super-sized BBW and I am a woman.
