I was just browsing POWWOW. I have a good friend who lives in the Czech Republic south of Prague. She was a student in this country.
In WW II I flew out of Italy and have since visited all over Europe. I enjoy visiting the people in other countries.
In Teplice, Most area the local people have erected a monument to two of our crews that crashed there on 21 July 1944. I would like to visit it one day, maybe next year. There were only four survivors. I have located family of one of those killed and
iven them photos of the memorial. They are very grateful.
