Game review page

Here are some reviews of the Dragonball Z games that I "own". Yes, they are ROMs, but I have no choice, as these games have never been released in this country (to my knowledge).

Dragonball Z RPG

This is a Final Fantasy style RPG, which takes you through the entire Dragonball Z story, starting with the battle with Raditz. It puts you in control of Goku and Piccolo, and you must train your fighters and solve puzzles in order to get ready for the big bosses.
In my opinion, this game is EXTREMELY hard, I can't even defeat Raditz, I'm ashamed to say. This is not the first RPG I've played, so I have no excuse. However, it is enjoyable, in a slow paced RPG way, and it is faithful to the show. Great game if you like a SERIOUS challenge.

Dragonball Z Super Budoten 3

This is a beat-em-up, in the style of Streetfighter 2. It is fantastic. If you liked Streetfighter, you'll love this! Fight as one of the many characters of Dragonball Z, and if you're good, master the special moves, such as the Kamehameha. There is even an eight player tournament mode, so you can prove your skill against your friends!
This is my favourite game, although that may be due to the fact that it's the only one that I can get very far with. It is only as difficult as you make it, as unlike the others, there is a difficulty setting; ranging from easy, to insane. I can master the hard setting, at this point. Great stuff!

Dragonball Z Hyper Dimension

Another beat-em-up! Graphically more advanced than Super Budoten 3, this is primarily a one player game, although it does have a two player mode. It takes you through Dragonball Z (and possibly Dragonball GT, I'm not sure), starting with the Frieza saga. You start with Piccolo, who is much weaker than Frieza, but if you loose; you get to use Super Sayian Goku. If you can win with the weaker fighter, you get to face harder enemies later on.
This game, I find very hard. I can just about defeat Frieza with Goku, but only after literally, about 6 or 7 minutes. And by the end, I'm drenched in sweat, due to the effort and concentration. And this is AFTER about a weeks practice. The next opponent, Cell, is just impossible. With Super Sayian Majin-Vegita, I get trashed in about 20 seconds, and with Goku, it's all over in 2 minutes. Howver, it does have good graphics (for a SNES game), and once again, it is faithful to the show. This game is great if you find Super Budoten 3 too easy (as if!).
