This is a 1986 Monte Carlo LS tops driveable parts car with valid inspection! It was used as a beater car in new york for the past 6 months. Now that i am done with school i have no need for the car. It has 144,000 miles on it and runs good. The torque converter is going i think so it locks until warm . It smells of oil so i think the rear main is leaking on the exhaust pipe from time to time. Some of the good parts in the past 6 months on this car are: New front caliper, gabriel shocks all around, NEW GAS TANK FOR MONTE CARLOS, good T TOPS!, new radiator for 4.3L, new plugs, power steering pump is new w/ new pulley despite some rust in picture, new y pipe, air cleaner, new wheel bearings in front, new pads in rear +hardware. These are just some of the new parts that i can remember. I am selling it as a parts car and have misplaced the title. A duplicate could be obtained if the buyer would like a copy. The body on this car is pretty much shot and has been patched and rattle canned. Also the interior isnt in that great of shape but driver seat motor and window motors work. .Only good body parts are the hood, nose,fender and trunk. Doors and rear quarters are shot. Also the chrome trim is also shot because i used tech screws to reattach. I probably have about 1500 dollars invested in this car. It is a great car for another MONTE CARLO OWNER. Who might need a spare hood 82-88, new gas tank, head lights are good, radiator, trunk lid, fenders are good. If it does not meet the reserve it will be disassembled and parted it out. The t-tops and gas tank together are probably worth over 400 dollars to keep in mind.
