Macchu Pichu Trip

As you know, OAK is going to the lost Incas city of Macchu Pichu in Peru. I'm sure you know the history - a royal city of about 300 people high up in the Andes (about 8,500 feet above sea level) that was lost to history until approximately 1910, when British explorer and archeologist Jonathan Bingham was told some wild tales, went there, and discovered and unearthed the place.

THIS IS AN 11-DAY trip. We start May 3, 2009 from Miami Airport (FLL is not available), fly to Lima Peru (Peru's current capital), then to Cuzco (the former capital before the Spanish conquest).

COSTS: Total complete cost is $2295.00 plus government taxes and fees of $114.09, plus OAK's fee of $30.00 per person. Cost is for 2-person rooms. As of this moment, there is one 1-person room and it has no surcharge. This includes all but two meals, and includes all air travel from Miami Airport. DEPOSIT: $350.00 December 15th. ALL CHECKS TO BE MADE PAYABLE TO O.A.K. AND delivered or sent to OAK, 5521 Polk Street, Hollywood FL 33021. Final payment due 90 days prior to trip - Total of $2439.09 per person. The maximum number of persons is 16, of which 4 are already sold.

GOING: Ruby and I, of course. Mike Herbig, Sheila Jacobson, Carolyn Thomson have all indicated they are going. I strongly urge that you get your $350.00 deposit in IMMEDIATELY. We cannot guarantee space unless we have the deposit.

We will visit and tour Lima, Cuzco, Macchu Pichu, Sacred Valley of Urubamba River, Pisac, Ollantaytambo, we can raft the Urubamba River, train ride to Aguas calientes (entrace-way to Macchu Pichu), Qenko, Sacsayhuaman. A full and complete experience.

Our $300.00 discount deadline has expired. Checks must be made payable and sent to O.A.K. We are now told that there is one space left for this trip.

This is an 11-day trip, of which first and last days are spent traveling by air to/from Miami.

First, we are being given a discount of $300.00 per person if I get your $350.00 deposit NO LATER THAN December 5th (next month).

Second, a discount of $1000.00 if we book eleven (11) or more people. The $1000.00 will be equally divided between all of us.

Third, we have arranged for a second private room, but can negotiate to convert a 2-person room into a private room for only a small amount of money.

PERU - There are only 4 days left to get your deposit in in order to get a $300.00 discount, which will bring the price down to $2139.09. Of course, if we get 11 or more people, there will be an additional discount of about $200.00. If you are going, I suggest you call me and let me know so that we can work out getting the deposit in.

Our $300.00 discount deadline has expired. If we get 5 more paid reservations @ $350.00, we can offer to all travelers an additional discount of approximately $200.00 per person. Checks must be made payable and sent to O.A.K.
