I LOVE the Sport of Volleyball. I've been brought up playing this sport it's even how my parents met.
Being 5'5" makes being a male volleyball player difficult because coaches want people who can block
And attack easily. I never made the team until my grade ten year and because of my height was put at
The position that height is not as much of a factor and I've stuck with it ever since. I surely don't think
I'm the best but I am one of the better players in the school. Last year I got to coach our school's
Junior Girls Volleyball Team to a Scarborough (SSSAA) Championship! Woo Hoo! Me and my friend
Brian were Co-coaches. We had a really great time. Basically we watched them win calling Time-outs
Every once in a while. The final set ended 17-15, it almost gave me a heart attack. To see our pic go down.
This year we're coaching again and we only have the one loss so far. Hopefully we'll go all the way once more.
One thing that sucked about this year was the fact that our teachers went on work to rule and we didn't have a Sr. Boys team.
This is our Championship Photo. I'm the guy on the right (beside the old guy)
TOP ROW: Brian (Co-coach), Desiree, Becky(MVP), Michelle, Kristin W., ME!!!, Mr. Ellins (Supervisor)
FRONT ROW: Kristen C., Lauren, Katie, Jordyn, Dale
That's Becky (MVP) setting and me coaching in the background (I'm standing on the left)
This is me blocking some guy
This is me getting push out of the way of this guy who had a bad habit of taking my balls
