Here you will find anything that happens to come to mind that does not fit into any of the other listed categories. I may have a funny short story written by a friend and/or myself, a few funny jokes, or maybe just some incoherent banter. Time will tell.
Woohoo! First entry! This page contains the lyrics to my favorite song. The history behind it for me is rather, well... it's hard to explain. I love music, and many songs have a very deep meaning for me. This song in particular almost brought a tear to my eye the first time I heard it. I usually end up making associations between songs and events and/or people (females in particular). This song, however, I never made an association for and was determined not to until I could dedicate it to the woman I was going to marry. Well, I did get married and this song is now, and always will be (for better or for worse) dedicated to her.
This second song is an original composition by me. The lyrics were written while I was driving from Colorado to Minnesota after my wife and I had seperated the first time. After I returned to CO, I put music to it with the help of a dear buddy of mine who at one point was the lead singer and song writter for the awesome band Evil Chuck (out of Seattle, WA, now disbanded). It turned out that this song was partially responsible for us getting back together the second time. I plan to have a MIDI version of the song available here in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy. =)
NOTE: There are many parts where notes sound like they're off-beat and that's because... they are. The quantize function messed the placement of the notes, and unfortunately I was not able to fix it in the time I had available.
Here are the lyrics to Rebuild from one of my very favorite bands, Barenaked Ladies. No, I am not a "bandwagon" fan. I have been a Barenaked Ladies fan since the ORIGINAL release of Gordon (I even have the old original CD cover to prove it ;-) )! If you are the type that likes a variety of music, I suggest looking into Barenaked Ladies. Their style varies so much it's difficult to put their music into any specific category.
Here is the latest song that I have written. It was composed entirely by me. A few notes: Due to some unforseen difficulties, the MP3 is almost entirely left-channel. A catastrophic failure on the machine that it was written on forced me to produce it the way it is, and all the sheet music and MIDI files were lost.
Guyver 3 and I were a
The results are in. Unfortunately we didn't place, however it was still alot of fun. The equipment used generated some really powerful sounds, and in comparison MIDI heard through the average machine makes it sound awful... and I do mean bad. I will post them up here in the near future for those who have the capability of listening to them in their fullest splendor.
