and this is my page about This is a page dedicated to greek hip-hop.Hip-hop
is the best type of music and since I'm from Greece greek hip-hop is my
subject.Anyway talk is cheap here's what's going on with greek hip-hop(news,band
reviews,and anything that has to do with greek hip-hop).
LPs,but
the first two can not be found.I have no information about these two LPs.In
their third LP AM were consisted of 9 members but in their fourth only
three have remained in the group. These members are BDF(Big Daddy Foxmoor),X-Ray
and Real-D.AM have published their first LP in 1990 which was also the
first Hip-hop LP.AM had only one top 10 hit the song "Akou mana" which
is in their 3rd LP.Their fist album is called "To megalo kolpo"(the great
trick) and their 4th "Apo ton topo tis fygis" (From the place of the escape).BDF
has helped almost every other hip-hop band in Greece.He has written lyrics
for several bands like Goin' Through,Nebma and FF.C.The AM lyrics are all
written by him.Their new album contains 20 songs and some of them are in
English.Real-D has left the band,but Prohja,Sadahzinia,DJ Smartie Al and
2xl.
Hmiskoubria(Hmiz)
Hmiskoubria are the most successful hip-hop band in Greece.They
have published 2 LPs and their fist one became gold selling more than 30.000
copies.Hmiz are 
consisted
of 3 members,2 MCs and a DJ.The MCs names are Dimitris Metzelos and Mithridatis.The
DJ is called Pritanis.These three have released Some freestyles but at
that time Metzelos the main member used the name Bromilos(someone that
stinks) and used really bad language.Their lyrics don't make sence but
are very nice.Their style is also very nice.Their first album is called
"Hmiskoubria 30 hronia epitychies"(hmiskoubria 30 years of success) and
was a big success.People started listening to hip-hop because of Hmiskoubria.Their
sceond LP is named "O diskos pou diafimizete"(The record you advertise).In
their second LP they have called in a lot of greek music stars to sing
with them and the result is really nice.In both their LPs they have added
some funny chats with no music which are reffered to the next song.Their
best hit is "Sti discotec" in which they sing with a very famous singer
in Greece Elpida.Their best song by my opinion is "O monachos"(The monk)
which is in their first LP.
Terror X Crew(TXC)
This
is the band with the best rythm and style.The band has 2 MCs(Artemis MC
and Eythimis MC) and a DJ DJ Alx.They have a fast rythm and their hard
core hip-hop style makes them one of the best.TXC have pubkished 2 albums.The
first was only in LP and contained 10 tracks and their second one,their
best,has also 10 tracks and it is named "I polis ealo"(the town has been
taken).The group was joined at 1992 and was the first of its kind.Both
its MCs sound like psychos which makes them the best.Their lyrics talk
about the current state of affairs and mostly of reasons for people to
be afraid of them.They haven't got a hit in the top ten but their best
song is "O Ellinas pou echeis synithisei"(The Greek you have used to).
FortiFied Concept(FF.C.)
FF.C. was the first hip-hop band in Greece although they
have published their first LP after AM.The has 3 members(Kostas 
Kourmentalas,Dimitris Petsoukis,DJ Everlast) and in their
2 LP Sparky-T(the best DJ in Greece)has joined them.Their first LP was
called "Diskoloi Kairoi"(hard times)and it cannot be found.The LP had Greek
hip-hop on one side and foreign hip-hop in the other side.I've only heard
one song from that LP which is really great and talks about drugs.They
were firstly joined at 1987 but their first LP came out in 1993.Their second
LP is called "Se alli diastasi"(In another dimansion) and is really great.Their
styles differs from all the other greek hip-hop bands.In some songs they
sing with Uneek and Razastaar.FF.C. are members of the Dustheadz Klick.
Goin' Through (GT)
This
is not a pure hip-hop band.It is a mixture of hip-hop,mostly,funk and acid
jazz.The group has 2 members M.Papathanasiou and N.Vourliotis.Their first
LP was published in 1995 called "Anazitisi"(Quest) and they have had a
famous song remade,thing that made them famous(the song was named Gryfalle).5
or 6 months ago they have published a single called "Ekei pou vrisketai
to fos"(Where the light is) and after a while they published their 2nd
LP called "Mikroi Theoi"(little Gods) which is very nice indeed.In their
second album there is a song called "Ptosi"(Fall) which is the ULTIMATE
HIP-HOP SONG.Except from GT ,Artemis MC from TXC and Dimitris Metzelos
from Hmiz sing both with their own unique style.GT have also intoduced
Hmiz to FM records.
