Last night in Fresno...

It's quiet in the house now. It's getting late and I should get to bed soon... I'll be getting up early tommorrow to begin the trip.

Finished up numerous little errands today... tied up some loose ends.

Went to dinner with Sandy, Ed, Gen and Jason... it was nice. Ed came home unexpectedly to see me off... he had left on a business excursion but finished up quickly and came back just to see me before I left. We went to the Bulldog Brewing Co. for dinner... sort of a nice circular end to my visit. That's where most of the pictures were taken at... kinda silly really, but I guess I just wanted to make sure I had enough shots of everyone and stuff...

I'm going to miss the tranquility of being here... being on the road for the next month or so is going to be exciting, to say the least, but... I'm going to miss the peace I found out here.

Alie offered to let me out of doing the entire road trip, letting me stay out here all summer while she made other plans. Sandy would've been okay with it. I didn't take her up on it though... I knew if I did that I'd kick myself for not doing the trip now that I've got the chance.

I guess I just want to thank everyone out here for making my visit so wondeful, Sandy, Ed, Genevieve, Tina, Dan, Kate, Brian, Jason... all the people I've met along the way and out here... Thanks. Thanks for making someone you hadn't seen in 15 years feel like family. I promise I'll be back soon...

This could potentially be my last entry for a while... I'm not sure what sort of net access I'll be able to get on the road. There's the issue of time too. So... if you don't hear from me in a couple days... don't send out the dogs. Wait a week or two. ;)
