Where in the world is it?!: @ the Greenbelt Food Court, Makati. |
Review: Kitchen, has used the Fusion type of cuisine. A mixture of European and Filipino. The theme of the place is more of a modern Chinese or Japanese type of café, which I thought didn't really go with the type of cuisine they were advertising. The theme decoration of the place anyhow on the whole was very good although it seemed like they concentrated more on the effects of the café, rather than the food. I was very unsatisfied with thier culinary attempt. I ordered for a seafood pasta which said on the menu that, it was made up of clam, basil, white wine sauce and pasta. But instead what I got was a bowl of pasta with whole clam shells inside the bowl. It didnt accur to me that they would *actually* serve the clam shells INSIDE the dish. I spent most of my time removing the clam out of its shell rather than enjoying the dish. The sauce as well was not made of white wine sauce but what seemed like just a roux with basil. As for beverage, I ordered for a Mint Ice Tea, but what I got seemed like a local native drink here called "sago't gulaman". The service is quite good, but they are really over eager to serve you, which seems like they are trying to make up in other losses. The place is very affordable, BUT not value for money. In the end, I wished I had just eatten @ McDonalds instead. |
