My dad is about 48 years old. He has worked at Inland Steel in East Chicago for like the last 28 years or so. He started there before I was born, and I'll be 26 (eek!) this year (on Christmas Day, kinda ironic, no?) so it's gotta be like at least 28 years, maybe more. He's actually mellowed these last few years that I've been away from home, so I guess he's pretty cool. I mean, the man gave me a car when I went to dental school. Even though he won't say it, I know he loves me. In terms of religion, I'm not sure what his take is. I can't figure out if he goes on the holidays to please my mom, or if he goes for himself.
My mom is a house wife. After my sister, my brother and I all went away to school this year, I thougth she'd go out and get a job or go to school or something. But no. Well, let's just leave it at that. I would really like her to go back to school. I understand that she used to be a good student.
My sister Nadia goes to Purdue. But other than that she's OK. She's 22, and is out partying all the time. She is hands down the favorite one out of the three. My parents think she's all sweet and innocent. Little do they know.
My sister has graduated from Purdue and gotten a great job at
The University of Chicago. I am so jealous!
My brother Fernando goes to Indiana University, like I do. Actually he lives in the dorm just behind the dorm that I work in. He's a great kid. He's 19, and partying his ass off. It's his Sophmore year now, so you know he's partying hard core, just like he did when he was a freshman. He is a total lady's man. Like tonight: he's cooking dinner for like 3 girls. But he's a great kid.
Well, Fern's 20 now and will be a junior in the fall. He is still a Bio major, but he's not sure what he wants to do with that.
