Monica and Rachel's Apartment. No one's home and all the lights are off. It's snowing outside. The door opens and Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Rachel are dragging in a HUGE Christmas tree. Monica, the last one in the door flips the light switch and the lights turn on. Monica and Chandler exchange glances and Joey sees this and gives them each a look. Monica closes the door.
Monica: Everyone ready to get this tree up?
Chandler: Monica, your not going to go all perfectionist on us are you?
Monica: What? Me never. I don't know what your talking about Chandler.
Joey stands by Rachel makes a face as though he's gagging. Rachel looks at him.
Rachel: Joey, what are you doing?
Joey: (stops and looks at her) Um…I'm Joey.
Rachel: That got old a week ago.
Joey: (looks down at his feet) I know.
Rachel: Will someone please explain why Joey's answer for EVERYTHING is 'I'm Joey'.
Monica looks towards Rachel.
Monica: He's Joey.
Rachel: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? I want to know.
Chandler: Nothing, nothing at all.
Rachel: (Walking towards Chandler and Monica) I don't think so. I want answers now.
Monica: Nothing is going on, why do you think something is going on?
Rachel: Ever since London, you and Chandler have been acting strange. (covers her mouth
with her hand) Oh my GOD!
Chandler: What?
Rachel: The two of you are sleeping together!
Monica: What? No, why would you think that?
Rachel: This all makes Sense. Even Joey, he's known and you swore him to secrecy didn't
you?!
Chandler: Does not!
Rachel: Does to!
The door opens and Ross and Phoebe walk in and hear the banter.
Phoebe: Peace on Earth, Good Will Towards Men, isn't that what this
season is about?
Ross: yeah, Phoebe's right.
Rachel: Chandler and Monica have been sleeping together!
Ross: WHAT?! She's my sister man!
Monica: Were not Sleeping together! Like I would ever touch Chandler!
Chandler: You do know I am standing right here, don't you?
Monica: Sorry.
Joey: (starts walking out of the room) The two of you disgust me!
Joey slams the door behind him and everyone looks at the door.

Joey entered the apartment he shared with Chandler, he slammed the door shut. He went over to his recliner and sank into the chair. He picked up the remote and turned the TV on. The room became filled with the sounds of Bing Crosby singing 'White Christmas'.
Joey: Bah Humbug!
The door opens and Phoebe comes in.
Phoebe: Joey, what's wrong?
Joey: Monica and Chandler, I've been keeping a secret for them and I don't want to.
Phoebe: Rachel was right?
Joey: (nods) Yeah.
Phoebe: (moves closer to him and kneels in front of him) Joey, that must have been really
hard for you.
Joey: What gets me is they still refuse to admit they are together!
Phoebe: (Putting a hand on his knee) There probably afraid Ross will kill Chandler, he can
be over protective.
Joey: (Stands) You're right, I just didn't fell right keeping something from everybody.
Phoebe: (Standing as well) Don't worry, I don't think anyone will put you in the position
again.
Joey: Thanks Phoebes.
Phoebe: Your welcome.
Phoebe puts her hands on his shoulders and smiles. Joey puts his hands on her waist and the next thing either one knows there kissing.

The girls apartment, Rachel and Ross are putting the lights on the tree. Chandler and Monica and taking garlands and ornaments out of boxes. Rachel looks over at them and then nudges Ross.
Ross: What?
Rachel: Just look at them. It makes me sick.
Ross: He's my best friend and she's my sister. You would think they would be able to tell
me.
Rachel: She didn't tell me and I'm her best friend!
Chandler looks up and notices that Ross and Rachel are staring at him and Monica.
Chandler: Did one of us grow another head?
Ross: Just admit you to are….are….are doing the horizontal Fox trot.
Monica: ROSS!
Rachel: Monica, just tell us the truth.
Monica: You want the truth?
Rachel and Ross: YES!
Monica: I am in LOVE with Chandler.
Chandler drops a glass ornament in his hand.
Chandler: Really?
Monica: (turning to him) Yes, you declared your love on Thanksgiving, and I'm declaring
mine before Christmas.
Rachel: Just dandy, Now they're together and I'm alone.
Ross: Rach, don't cry.
Rachel: I'm not crying. If anyone need's me I'll be at Central Perk.

Joey pulls away from Phoebe, his eyes wide with shock.
Joey: Um what was that?
Phoebe: I think it's what's called a kiss.
Joey: That's what I thought to.
Phoebe: okay…
Joey: So…
Phoebe: It was nice.
Joey: yeah, real nice.
Phoebe: You gonna be okay? Cause I gotta get going.
Joey: Yeah I will. Bye Phoebes.
Phoebe starts to walk away towards the door.
Joey: You will be at the Christmas party tomorrow night right?
Phoebe: Yeah, Merry Christmas Joey.
Phoebe left the apartment and Joey standing there remembering the kiss.

The next afternoon
Rachel is sitting on the couch in Central Perk when Phoebe comes in. She spots Rachel and
walks over to her.
Phoebe: Hey Rachel, have you seen Joey today?
Rachel: No, I haven't. Is something going on that yet again I don't know about?
Phoebe: Well this is something no one knows but I have to tell someone.
Rachel: Phoebe, what happened?
Phoebe: Joey kissed me.
Rachel: How was it?
Phoebe: Amazing.
Just as that is said Joey walks into Central Perk. He sees Rachel and motions for her to come over to him. She does so and smiles.
Rachel: So Joey, what's up?
Joey: I'm in love with Phoebe.
Rachel: You are?
Joey: I think so, I've never felt this way before.
Rachel: Then fight for her.
Joey: You think so?
Rachel: Yeah.

That Night
Joey walks into Monica and Rachel’s apartment. He looks around
and sees Phoebe sitting on the couch talking to Ross. He walks over to her and taps her on
the shoulder.
Joey: Phoebe, can I talk to you outside?
Phoebe: I guess so.
Joey and Phoebe go outside into the hall. Joey closes the door and looked at her for a moment.
Phoebe: This is about that kiss, isn’t it?
Joey: Yeah it is.
Phoebe: What about it Joey?
Joey: Well it made something clear that I wasn’t so sure until then.
Phoebe: What was that Joey?
Joey: I’m in love with you Phoebe.
Phoebe: You are?
Joey: Yeah I am.
Phoebe: I'm in love with you to Joey!
