My House

This is my house. I bought in late November, 1996 when the previous occupant expired. It needed a little work but was otherwise very sound. The first thing I did was get rid of the brady bunch/old lady colors the interior was painted. Then the nasty green shag carpeting also circa the '70s was put to the curb. It has hardwood floors throughout and I'm slowly refinishing them. I did the upstairs over Christmas 1999. I redid the kitchen over a few months in the beginning of 2001. It came out really nice. The exterior didn't need anything but a little paint on the trim. I did yank out the nasty shaped bushes in the front. You know the kind you'd see on Leave It To Beaver.
