That career thing.
This was my desk at the Rouge Office Building. I called it the Pit Of Death(tm), actually it was more like a Tower Of Doom.
The only living things I've seen there besides a rat or two (outside) are
humans. It also has a real nice chemical smell when the wind is just right.
Don't drive a nice vehicle there, the industrial fallout will ruin the paint
real quick. Thats why I drove the Princess(r.i.p) there.
I wasn't a Ford employee, though I spent about 90% of my time doing Ford
projects. If you look just left of the monitor you can see the green
art thing I mentioned on the main page "nicely framed". Notice the papers
strewn about my desk, that means I actualy did work. Some people had REAL
neat desks. You can probably guess what they did :)
What do I do? Well content management now, but used to do industrial controls,
and data collection. I like my job (most days), it can be both challenging
and rewarding. It makes all those classes I don't use anymore worthwhile.
Where is some of my work? Most of it is in Rochester, MI and Sandusky, OH.
Oh how I hate Sandusky. A good bit is also in Milan, Mi, Tulsa, OK, Detroit, MI, Dearborn, MI . Some more is scattered around in such countries as Mexico,
Germany, Italy, England, Canada, and a few other places I can't think of at the
moment. No, I didn't get to go to all those cool places. I did get to go to
Pleasanton, California.
I've also done work for Allen Bradley, USDATA, Aeroquip, and a few others.
I used to work for a small systems integration firm called B.R.T. inc. It's generally a good company to work for. But I liked working there some days better than others. Now I'm at Parkedale (King) Pharmaceuticals.
Currently I'm a "permanent" employee at Parkedale doing leading a new project in Rochester, MI . I'm into Document management right now. No, it's not nearly as boring as it sounds. You don't get to make any robots crash
though :) Sigh... If your looking for a talented engineer feel free
to download my resume. You'll need the Adobe Acrobat reader to see it.
Use the smiley to go back.
