EXPERIENCE

 Speech-Language Pathologist- Carry caseload of clients with a variety of ages and diagnoses, including children with mild-severe Autism/PDD, Apraxia of speech, oral motor disorders, brain injuries, hard-of-hearing. Serve Listen School, a private school for children with severe disabilities, co-led KinderClub program (summer kindergarten readiness program), conduct speech-language evaluations.

Speech-Language Pathologist contractor, served local Head-start program, led phonological awareness kindergarten program and provided individual therapy and evaluation.

Euclid City Schools,Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital, MetroHealth Medical Center,Cleveland, OH

Provided evaluation/treatment to preschool and school-age population. Conducted mandatory hearing screenings; Speech-language & behavioral feeding evaluation/treatment to medically fragile pediatric population on Collaborative Care Unit; Provided evaluation/treatment to adult patients on Head Injury Unit.

Senior Research Assistant - Project Title: Communication Disorders after Traumatic Brain Injury, Responsibilities included: Evaluating and reporting on cognitive-communicative skills of normal/TBI participants; assisted in development of social communication assessment tools; assistance with adolescent social skills group; direction of lab activities and coordination of research assistants.

3 week mentorship with Mark Ylvisaker, PhD. Videotaped, transcribed, and analyzed staff-client interactions at Altamont Traumatic Brain Injury Program. Determined validity of variety of pragmatic analysis systems.

Interim Team Leader, Instructor. Managed client cases. Scheduled and facilitated future planning meetings; wrote and implemented client goals & plans; conducted vocational & social skills training.
