First he was known as "Fresh Prince" both as a rapmucisean and as an actor in the sitcom "Fresh Prince of Bel Air".
I do not think that that many people knew his real name back then, but last year I think every living soul in the world
got to know his name!

The movie "SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION"(1993) was the first one for Will Smith, but his real breakthrough came in the movie "BAD BOYS" (1995)  and the movie "INDEPENDENCE DAY"(1996)
Just a few month later he starred in the movie "MEN IN BLACK"(1997) with the actor Tommy Lee Jones.

Today he is the hottest black actor in Hollywood, his success can not reach any higher!
Now we just patiently sit and wait for his next movie to come!
