Beautiful Islands

For those who love sun-shine,sand and sea,Sabah is the right place for them to visit. At the outskirt of the state capital,Kota Kinabalu,is the Tanjung Aru beach. Its 4 kilometer stretch of sandy
beach is there for you to enjoy. If you do not mind a 10 minutes speed boat ride,you may want to try the few beautiful islands
opposite Kota Kinabalu. The crystal clear waters are ideal for snorkling,diving and fishing.

Further away is the Sipadan Island,the world renowned "divers' paradise." It is situated near Tawau,off the coast of Semporna.
To have dived here at least once is a must for any self respecting diver!

White Water Rafting

If you are the adventurous type,go to Beaufort,about 100 km from Kota Kinabalu,where you can conquer the rapids of?the Pedas river.
You can go there by road or by train.
