The Man Behind the Plastic Wrap

Man, that really does sound wrong, doesn't it? That's ok, it's staying.
Me? My name is Adam, and I'm a junior at the University of Maryland. I'm majoring in Computer Science, and looking to pick up a job in the field of video games, and hopefully end up starting a game development studio. Yes, I seriously want to spend the rest of my life playing/making/designing video games. Stop laughing.

Outside of gaming...lets see...hold on, let figure out where I put that part of my life - it's somewhere at the bottom of my closet I think....

So yeah, I guess I have a quirky sense of humor, and I enjoy music. Currently I'm listening to Incubus and Guster, and as always my trusty standby, Barenaked Ladies. Also on the music front, I played trumpet for 8 years, and even almost majored in music education. Since I have this page, I guess it's clear I like art - I took private art lessons for 5 years, and had an absolute blast learning how to actually paint - I only ever drew pencil art as a kid, so actual painting was something completely new to me. Now, I'm finally finally finally going to have some fun with the pen tablet I bought for my computer, and truly learn how to make digital artwork.
Oh, and I guess I should mention the special someone in my life - she deserves it (and probably won't get angry that she gets mentioned ;)). I've been with Katie for over a year and a half now, and every day I appreciate her more and more. She's down at Mary Washington now, which sort of sucks...but as always, it's worth the wait.
