Well, there is some information on my front page about
me,but since I like to ramble,and if you have the time,
I'd like to tell you...*LOL*..Pack a lunch,'cause the girl sure
can talk*L*
I grew up in a Maine Coastal Town,but live near the lakes
and the Mountains now...I miss the ocean but it's just too Damn
cold to swim in anymore*L*
I have one older sister,who
is a Great Friend to me and the Greatest Aunt to my kids.
She has none of her own so,needless to say,she spoils mine*S*
I had a great childhood,every day was spent at the Beach*G*,I
ate more sand-filled
Cucumber sandwiches in my time,too!*LOL*
My best friend in real life is named
Carla,She hates cameras,so this is the best I could do*L*
We were cruising in my boat!! I also, have a best friend named Eddie,
but since he moved to New Jersey I don't see enough of him*pout*
My interests in life besides shooting(being from Maine,it's kind of a law to have a gun,,
if nothing else than to tick off the Flatlanders*LMAO*)
and motorcycling include Genealogy,of which I have done extensive research on my family.
I am attempting to get in to the Daughters of the American
Revolution,because my gr.gr.gr.gr.gr.grandfather was a
Revolutionary War Soldier..
I went to a local tech school after graduating from High School
to learn Automotive Mechanics,,My Dad had no son's so he used
to haul me out to rebuild lawn mowers and work on the car,figured I would never play the damsel in distress or something like that..*LOL*.
..I first learned to drive a standard tranny by plowing the
fields*L*
He also taught me to shoot and I dislocated my shoulder while shooting the 12 gg for the first time*L*I have had several interesting jobs over the years,,
I have driven a parts truck,managed a variety store,been a secretary,an Auto Mechanic(I was one of the first females hired by Sears to be a mechanic...and I won't tell you how long ago either*LOL*)
and was a Police Dispatcher... YES!!!I REALLY was...Getting paid to tell the cops where to go,who'd have thought*L*
That was interesting but stressful at times..and bringing up
kids can be stress enough for anyone ..*S*
I volunteer for a lot of things,I am currently on the Board of Parks and Recreation
in our town...I was the Cubmaster for our local Cub Scout Pack, but recently resigned after 10 years in Scouts,due to the fact that both of my sons are now Boy Scouts,and I've been
the past Treasurer of our Fish and Game..I volunteer at school and just about anywhere I'm asked to help out*L*
Sucker is definitely blinking on my forehead*LOL*,
but if it benefits my kids,I'll help out!!
I've recently become divorced after 21 years of marriage and I have met a wonderful guy..*VBS*...We're all doing fine!!
Well,I got on the net originally for my kids,but a friend
introduced me to Chathouse and I've been hooked ever since..*L*
