Whenever I smiled at you
You simply turned away
Not knowing that I like you
My heart ached day by day

Many times I pulled my courage
To come and talk to you
I just blushed and walked away
Was all that I could do

I constantly told myself
That you would like me soon
But years gone by without much change
Dream was all I could do

I thought about if you were mine
And all the things we'd do
Until one day I caught a glimpse
Of a girl who was kissing you

My heart shattered as I watched
You giving her your sweetest smile
And my eyes welled up in tears
As you kissed her for a while

If I'd done something sooner
I wouldn't regret this
Me feeling too miserable
To know it's you I missed

Now whenever I see you
I try not to stare
Thinkin' of the fun we had
In my mind, we shared.
