Governor George W. Bush took his time to pose for a picture with me as he was leaving the room after giving his victory speech in March of 1998. His security detail tried to push me back, but then was handed my camera by the Governor to take the picture. It was the night of the primary election, March 3, 1998. He would then face Garry Mauro in the general election, November 3, 1998, for the office of the Governor. He was easily re-elected.
He now has a new title, President. George W. Bush became our 43rd President on January 20, 2001 at his Inauguration.
(the autographed version is at home, framed)
So, in 1999 I interned at the State Legislature. Representative Suzanna Gratia Hupp and her staff (Katherine Yoder and Trey Blocker) were awesome to work with. I learned a lot from them and continue to as I go and visit and have kept up relations with the office. I finally got the picture back that I took with the Representative as my time there was ending. The long wait was worth it, it's autographed. And currently, it sits in a frame on my desk at work. I scanned it as a way to keep it permanently.
Please find the Chapters of my life listed below. Some have yet to be completed. Others are fleeting memories that have taken root in the mind and spirit, but alas I have moved on and am rooting myself other places now.
