CLASS RECORD FOR THE EAST END SCHOOL The following list of names appeared on a class attendance roll for the East End School at Pleasant Hill. According to Lula Lewis Pouncey, the school was located at the east end of Pleasant Hill, east of the Presbyterian Church, on the South side of the road. The list was transcribed by Russell Buster in March 1959 in a letter he wrote to Miss Julia Lewis. The original was found among his mother’s papers. Mr. Buster’s Aunt Willie was a teacher at the school.
