Shutup Man began his musical training early, thanks to musically inclined parents and public education.

The first instrument Shutup Man learned to play was a cheesy little Yamaha keyboard, at age 7, shortly thereafter followed by the wonderful Recorder.
Has also played Clarinet, Bass clarinet and Bass Guitar in school bands.
Purchased first guitar at age 13.
Took Guitar and Bass lessons for 2 years.
Started experimenting with electronic music at age 17.
Founded Oatmeal Jockstrap in 2000.
Co-Founded Starot. with Teddy Tazer in 2000.
The Breakfast Cereal EP released Mid 2001, followed by Where's My Hummer? Maxi Single
In September of 2001, Shutup Man writes two songs in tribute to the WTC attacks; Day of Terror and The Osama Bin Laden Song
Teddy and Shutup Man parted ways shortly thereafter and took a long hiatus from the music scene.
Summer 2002 Teddy Tazer is back on the scene and X3S is born.
Due to the diversity of music styles Shutup Man forms Rape Kit Contamination (Hardcore/Industrial), It's A Scam (Main Project, variety of styles), Train Crash Survivor (various styles, Internet Band), TECHNO DANCE PARTY (Supar Techno!!1), all in 2003
Oatmeal Jockstrap becomes an outlet for cover songs in 2004

SCAB is released October 2004
2005 Shutup Man is hired as producer/engineer/master beat designer for a hip hop album by Teddy Tazer's brother, Pinky
Mood Themes is released June 2005
Long Time Coming tentative release date May 2006, to be followed by a CD of re-recorded versions of songs from Long Time Coming (tentative name You Waited Too Long)
Possible release of X3S album Torn Up Bicycle Paths late 2006/early 2007
