So what's cooking???
I have a catering business so the kitchen is where I'm usually hanging out, chopping those veggies, rollin' that dough and listening to some bluegrass or country music. Cooking is my thing and I'm good at it, at least that's what my friends say. I know it's where I find contentment.
I also enjoy the ocean, B.C. (before children), I cooked and crewed on sailing vessels for a few years down in the islands. Sailing really teaches you to slow down and enjoy what's out there. So many people are in such a hurry to reach that top step on the ladder that they miss out on the fun it could be gettin there. How's that saying go? "It's not the end of the journey that matters, it's the journey that matters in the end....
I look at this life as an adventure that I try to live to my fullest capability with open eyes and an open heart. I'm a single parent with two sons, an eighteen and twenty five year old. They bring love and joy to my life.
I love to be romanced, bring me flowers and you'll knock me off my feet. Where are all those real gentlemen???

Sometimes fun for me is just checking out the awesome sunset in the field or working out in my garden. That's what life is like in Maine, the weather changes very quickly but I love it here, the different seasons, time to change with the seasons; this is home.
I've traveled and lived in a few places, parts of Florida, Key West I loved the best but it's all commercialized now, New Mexico, Australia. I think if I were to have another home somewhere I'd want it to be in Moorea, South Polyneisia, it's a beautiful island.
