There's a predominant theory in most homepages I've seen. It goes something like this: "As great as it is to type up an essay on your personal beliefs, ideals, and values, no one really cares, so just download a handful of GIFs about them instead."
I used to be a strong believer in this theory, but my homepage started taking 64 hours and 12 minutes to load, so I decided to make a page for this stuff, and see if anybody cares.
Best viewed with Eyes: I've always been a supporter of the various campaigns to make the WWW non-browser-specific as it once was. so although I used one of the bigshot eidtors to make this page, I don't brag about it.
Great Flood of 1997 Last year, a massive flood hit Byron Bible Camp of South Dakota. Right now, they are in the process of serious reorganization. Please visit this page, which I help to maintain.
Guns don't kill people... This is one of the ones that I made myself. It is from a line in UHF, but I think it would be a good slogan for NRA.
GIF It's always been my policy to use GIF images, even though they are not always the best. I guess I'm just dumb.
Save Doctor Who The goal of the Save Doctor Who page is simple: to keep one of the world's greatest Science Fiction series on the air permanently.
Be a man! This is one of the GIFs I created to advertise my notorious Jack Klugman homepage.
These are the good people who designed that funky logo of mine. They went on to get a whole domain name, but I still like to the old page.
You can go ahead and decide for yourself what this one might mean. If you figure it out, let me know.
Best Viewed With Any Browser This page is one of the leaders of the non-specific campaign. It is a very good source for GIFs, non-specific validators, and stuff like that.
0-Star Site It really did seem funny at the time.
Frame Free I guess this turned out to be the most controversial thing on the bottom of the Digital Steakhouse. I'm not a big follower of the frame mentality, but I have seen a couple pages where they are used tastefully. That is why I chose this GIF as a refreshing alternative to the "I Hate Frames" Club.
Top 100% I thought that I was so clever, but then i found out that it had already been done.
Digital Doomsday Clock I prefer this to the much more popular (and more effective) Blue Ribbon Campaign for free speech, but I'm not quite sure why.
The Burning Q-Tip This real life sad story of corporate paranoia is a solemn reminder of what "they" can do to us if they want to.
