I am a born-again Christian. I believe that the only hope anyone has to escape eternal punishment is to accept Jesus Christ's payment on the cross for his/her sins. Over the years, some people have tried to complexify the situation, but it really is that simple.
I believe that one of the most important aspects of out society is individual freedom. Nobody ever questions the freedom of the people handing out blankets to the homeless, but the freedom of the guys in white hoods burning crosses is sometimes questioned. People ought to be encouraged to express their ideas, be it in the form art, demonstrations, books, or any other media.
One of my favorite opinions (and probably the one that I harp on the most) is that political parties are a dangerous source of corruption. We should not vote based on what the bigshots of one party or another tell us, but rather on what we believe is the truth. And the truth shall set you free!
